The Long Island Iced Tea is known for its complexity and the balance between different spirits, with each ingredient contributing structure and character. INGREDIENTS

• 20ml Ron Santiago de Cuba Carta Blanca
• 20 ml vodka
  
• 20 ml gin
  
• 20 ml blanco tequila
  
• 20 ml triple sec
  
• 25 ml fresh lemon juice
  
• 15 ml sugar syrup
  
• 40 ml cola
  
• Ice cubes
  
• Lemon slice for garnish

METHOD

1. Fill a tall glass with solid, well-chilled ice.
   
2. Pour the rum, vodka, gin, tequila and triple sec directly over the ice.
   
3. Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup.
   
4. Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine the ingredients.
   
5. Top with a splash of cola and stir lightly to maintain balance in the cocktail.
   
6. Garnish with a slice of lemon for a fresh aromatic touch.
